Robert M. Peregrin is frequently a featured speaker at seminars and to groups with respect to aircraft registration, lien, fractional ownership and leasing issues involving the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Peregrin, a shareholder of Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson, assists clients as special FAA counsel in structuring and closing worldwide transactions involving the sale, registration, leasing and financing of private, corporate and commercial aircraft and the filing of such transaction documents with the FAA Registry in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mr. Peregrin was graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1979 and from the University of Oklahoma with a juris doctorate degree in 1982. He is a member of the National Business Aviation Association and the Association of Aircraft Title Lawyers. Mr. Peregrin is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma and has an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell.

Bob and his family live on an acreage outside of Oklahoma City in a log home. He is active in the baseball careers of his two sons, is a third degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys martial arts and competitive shooting sports.

Susan H. Haught is a shareholder of Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson. Acting as special FAA counsel, she assists clients throughout the world in structuring and closing transactions involving the sale, registration, leasing and financing of private, corporate and commercial aircraft and the filing of such transaction documents with the FAA Registry in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


Ms. Haught was graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1977 and from Oklahoma City University with a juris doctorate degree in 1984. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Aircraft Financing Subcommittee, Business Law Section and Forum Committee on Air and Space Law; the National Business Aviation Association and the Association of Aircraft Title Lawyers.

Susan has been a featured speaker at the Strategic Research Institute Conferences annually since 1996. The topics of her presentations included "Current Problems and Issues Relating to U.S. Civil Aircraft Registry", "FAA Registration, Lien and Security Interests - A Practice Primer" and "Taking Delivery of a New Commercial Aircraft". Ms. Haught was also a speaker at the 1997 ABA Forum Committee on Air and Space Law Annual Meeting with respect to FAA registration issues and in 2000 relating to new uses of limited liability companies in aircraft financing. Susan assisted in conducting a workshop relating to FAA registry matters at the Institute of International Research in 2000. She has an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Oklahoma and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit.

Prior to practicing in the private sector, Ms. Haught served as a vice president of a major financial institution in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for eight years managing the Loan Review Department and specializing in real estate construction lending. Over the years, she has been involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Oklahoma City Junior League, the Persimmon Hill Associate Board of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra, having chaired its major fund raiser for 1998-1999.

Robin D. Jenson is a shareholder of Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson. Robin has been involved in the aviation industry since 1979 and assists clients as special aviation counsel worldwide in structuring and closing transactions involving the sale, registration, leasing and financing of commercial, corporate, and private aircraft and the filing of such transaction documents with the FAA Registry in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as registering the associated interests on the International Registry.

Throughout the years Robin has closed on thousands of commercial and corporate aircraft and has played an instrumental role in the transactional restructuring of major air carrier fleets, including transactions that are deemed to be the largest recorded in the history of the FAA Registry.

Robin is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, having received her B.S. in 1979. She received her juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1986. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Section and Forum Committee on Air and Space Law. She is also a member of the National Business Aviation Association and the Association of Aircraft Title Lawyers and has an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell.  Robin was selected as one of the World's Leading Aviation Lawyers, by The International Who's Who of Aviation Lawyers and The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers.

Robin and her family reside in Oklahoma City, where not only is she involved in the lives of her two sons, but also with the youth at her church as a High School Sunday School teacher. She is an avid sports fan of both the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners.

R. Steven Haught is Of Counsel to Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson. Mr. Haught's practice involves aviation title and finance law including the structuring and closing of transactions relating to the sale, registration, leasing and financing of private, corporate and commercial aircraft and the filing of such transaction documents with the FAA Registry. He is a member of the Association of Aircraft Title Lawyers and the National Business Aviation Association.


Mr. Haught was graduated from Georgetown University in 1974 and from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with a juris doctorate degree in 1978. He was a law review editor, a member of both the National Moot Court and International Moot Court Teams and was awarded the Best Speaker award at the Law Day Competition before the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. He was awarded membership in the Order of the Barristers.

Engaged in the private practice of law since 1978, Mr. Haught has an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. In addition to the services described above, Mr. Haught represents a variety of corporate clients in civil litigation matters. He is admitted to practice before the following courts: United States Supreme Court; United States Court of Federal Claims; United States Court of International Trade; Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals; United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma; United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma; United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma; and the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.

He is a member of the Tenth Circuit Judicial Conference and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Mr. Haught has been a member of the Panel of Arbitrators and has mediated cases for the American Arbitration Association since 1989. He is a member of the Boards of Mediators and Arbitrators for NASD, Regulation, Inc. and serves on the Mediation Panel of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is also on the arbitration panels for the NYSE and National Arbitration Forum.  Steve has served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Oklahoma Department of Mines since 1988 and acted as a Special Municipal Judge for the City of Oklahoma City from 1994-2006. Governor Henry Bellmon appointed him to serve as a Commissioner (Vice-Chairman, 1991-92) of the Oklahoma Merit Protection Commission.

In his leisure time, Steve likes to travel with his wife Susan and devotes his time to charitable organizations in the community, serving on boards for Ballet Oklahoma (President); Odyssey Society-Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra; and the Oklahoma Society To Prevent Blindness. Steve has completed 5 marathons.

Steve Rowland grew up in Oklahoma City and served as a Petty Officer Third Class Operations Specialist in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Knox, a destroyer escort, stationed at Pearl Harbor. Subsequent to being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1976, Steve attended Oklahoma City Community College and became an employee of the Federal Aviation Administration on February 8, 1977. Steve wore many hats while at the FAA over the years, including file clerk, central records clerk and legal conveyance examiner for which he achieved various awards.

On February 10, 1985, Steve Rowland joined Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson as a paralegal. Initially, Steve did the majority of the Firm's filings at the FAA Registry, as well as examining and assembling documents to be filed with the FAA. He provides valuable assistance to clients daily in coordinating transactions, conducting closings and works closely with the staff of the FAA Registry.

Steve is married to Rhonda and has a son, S. Ryan, and a daughter, Randi. In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing golf, spending time with his children and their projects, and being involved with activities of his church. Steve is also a certified high school football official and amateur beekeeper.

Dewieta F. Carter is a paralegal with Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson, having joined the Firm in July, 1986. She has expertise in aircraft title examination work including drafting, reviewing and assembling documents for aircraft transaction closings. Dewieta also works as a liaison with the FAA Registry examiners with respect to correcting FAA posting errors and Registry issues. Much of her daily work hours are devoted to coordinating transactions and documents with co-counsel and clients for closings. She has many years of experience in dealing with engine and propeller swap transactions involved in complicated trust arrangements.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Carter was employed for 7 and one half years by an aircraft title company as a supervisor of the examination department. There, she was charged with training of aircraft title examiners, examining FAA aircraft records and assisting with aircraft closings at the FAA.

Dewieta was raised in Oklahoma City, is married to Rob, a Fire Chief, and they have two children, Karl and Mandy. Outside the office, Ms. Carter may be found chasing her husband's fire trucks and spoiling their grandchildren.

Since September of 1990, Mark Hanna has worked for Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson as a paralegal in the Public Documents Room of the FAA Registry, located in the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. He is the Firm's primary liaison between the FAA and clients.

He also works with clients to reserve and assign special United States registration numbers for aircraft and requests changes in current United States registration numbers. Mark orders the FAA aircraft records needed for examination and closings and coordinates with FAA personnel on technical Registry issues.

Mr. Hanna assists the Firm with the examination of aircraft records, preparation of currative documents and aircraft transaction closings. One of Mark's more crucial jobs includes liaising with the many departments of the FAA to obtain temporary registration certificates for the international operation of newly registered aircraft and deregistration telexes for exported aircraft.

Mark, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He and his three boys currently reside in Mustang, Oklahoma. When not dealing with the FAA, Mark spends time with his sons in all of their activities and enjoys watching the OSU Cowboys and hunting.
