On February 10, 1985, Steve Rowland joined Daugherty, Fowler, Peregrin, Haught & Jenson as a paralegal. Initially, Steve did the majority of the Firm's filings at the FAA Registry, as well as examining and assembling documents to be filed with the FAA. As a senior paralegal, he provides valuable assistance to clients daily in the examination of aircraft records and works closely with the staff of the FAA Registry. Steve grew up in Oklahoma City and
served as a Petty Officer Third Class Operations Specialist in the U.S. Navy aboard the
U.S.S. Knox, a destroyer escort, stationed at Pearl Harbor. Subsequent to being honorably
discharged from the Navy in 1976, Steve attended Oklahoma City Community College and
became an employee of the Federal Aviation Administration on February 8, 1977. Steve wore
many hats while at the FAA over the years, including file clerk, central records clerk and
legal conveyance examiner for which he achieved various awards.
